Untreated turquoise and solid sterling silver Navajo tribal panel necklace
A massive statement necklace from the Navajo tribe of America.
This necklace is crafted in the traditional style of the Navajo tribe of solid sterling silver with 22 freeform cabochon pieces of untreated turquoise.
Each panel is etched by hand, the etching has some wear therefore is softer as this piece is vintage, this piece has had more than one owner and now can be yours too.
The clasp panel, is larger, the clasp panel has etching and turquoise too and it closes with a little toggle clasp that uses the weight of the piece to hold it and the weight, is heavy, 109 grams.
Makers mark and sterling on the large panel.
I have for sale a piee of raw turquoise for the gem collector that wants unmounted material: https://www.treasurentreats.com/product-page/28-grams-untreated-nevada-american-spiderweb-turquoise-slice-slab-vintage-gem
