Antique G Thomas LTD Sheffield steel hand forged England tailor scissors shears

A pair of scissors for use by a clothes tailor.
 
These scissors are large, they are shears large and the handles are large too so they are easy to use and to continue using while creating a fine dress or the like.
 
The scissors are antique and when they were made these were made in Sheffield England, famous for high quality steel.
 
These shears were hand assembled, the screw and the nut created by hand and they qere indeed created to a high standard, they aresolid ratehr than modern scissors with molded cheap plastic handles and there are little dents on each piece which are for rockwell hardness, these left the factory at the right hardness so they will be strong and yet they will not be brittle.
 
Condition: The scissors are a tad rattly however they do still work and they have an edge  and hold an edge to a high degree, these have much much more use on them. Many tailors scissors are rattly and loose but when they clsoe onto fabric they are tight and they work.
There is minor rust which could be removed, there was a black paint on them which is mostly worn off.
Used, by more than 1 generation and now ready to be used by another generation.
