A solid opal from the Coober Pedy area of Australia.

The Coober Pedy mines are known for producing this type of material, the beautiful pure snowy creamy white background with this sparkles of pinfire that earn this gem its fans.

This opal weighs 1.80cts.

The opal is oval faceted and it is done well, the faceting is smooth and well polished, the piece is sure to sit well with gold or platinum or be just a gem to be proud of for those lucky enough to buy such things.
 
This opal has a pure white softness to it, the opal flashes with reds and greens with pinfire shimmer.

The images wash out the opal, it looks better in terms of the colours than the video shows.
